Can Do Future 2018
Wells Fargo is proud to sponsor the Can Do Future award, which recognizes organizations that strive to create opportunities for a brighter future for the most under-served members of our community. The 2018 award will honor the Youth Education and Leadership Program at Urban League of Nebraska and accepted on behalf of their CEO & President, Thomas Warren (pictured right). Wells Fargo selected this year's recipient because of their unwavering commitment to the needs of the most vulnerable children and families in our community.
Wells Fargo was particularly interested in sponsoring this award because they believe every child in our community can have a bright future.
According to Wells Fargo Regional President, Kirk Kellner, “They provide hope to children and their families by ensuring their basic, safety, education, and even financial education needs are met. Through this award and our longstanding collaboration with Kids Can, we are making an investment in the future of the children in Omaha."
At Wells Fargo, their vision is to satisfy customers' needs and help them succeed financially. Each of their customers defines success differently and very personally. The same is true for children and families served by the Urban League of Nebraska and their Youth Education and Leadership Program. TO them, success may mean many different things. However, it all starts with having opportunities to grow to their full potential. This is something the Urban League does well; helping children and families realize their educational dreams and become leaders, and for that reason, we are proud to celebrate them today.
